Filter Housing Chlorination method

(Soak with new or used filter according to chart above)

               1. Disassemble unit
               2. Remove Filter from Filter Housing
               3. Combine 1 teaspoon liquid Chlorine Bleach in 1 cup warm water
               4. Pour chlorine solution into Filter Housing (can also soak Filter Bracket if desired). For harmful
bacteria or other bad odor situations, remove the eSpring faucet and disconnect faucet tubing
from the eSpring unit. Tip: Clean kitchen sink and counter surrounding area with LOC Plus
Kitchen Cleaner and follow up with Pursue Broad Spectrum Disinfectant.

               5. Fill Filter Housing full of water

               6. Let chlorine solution soak for 10-15 minutes.
               7. For harmful bacteria or other bad odor situations, the faucet tubing should be cleaned along
with the faucet, then soak in the chlorine solution, and rinse well.
               8. Empty Filter Housing and Rinse
               9. Fill base housing ¼ full of water
               10. Push Filter Bracket and Filter Cartridge into Filter Housing
               11. Reassemble unit

               12. Turn eSpring Faucet on for a 3-5 minute constant flush prior to use. If new filter where water
is gray or black, run an additional constant 10 minute flush to rid filter of excess carbon.
